Halley Consulting Group Expands Its Team
Physician practice management consulting firm grows to meet client demands
July 12, 2010 – COLUMBUS, Ohio – As the demand for physician practice management consulting services increases, Halley Consulting Group, a national physician practice management and consulting firm, recently has added Linda Ried Forbes and James Hayes as practice consultants.
“We continue to grow as our client needs expand,” said Marc Halley, president and CEO of Halley Consulting Group. “We’ve seen tremendous need for interim management of physician practice networks as hospitals continue to expand their networks. The addition of Forbes and Hayes brings the total number of Halley team members to 20. Their hands-on experience is vital to our clients, as they deliver solid strategic, operational and financial impact for them.”
Forbes, a 25-plus year veteran of the healthcare industry, combines consulting and administrative experience to effectively lead hospital and physician practice networks to achieve operational and financial goals.
Prior to joining Halley Consulting Group, Forbes spent 10 years with another consulting firm that serviced various single and multi-specialty physician practices and hospitals. She also has worked directly for healthcare systems throughout Wisconsin, including the Cardiovascular Association of Northern Wisconsin and the Physicians Network, Inc., both in Wausau; Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson; and New Medico Rehabilitation Center in Waterford.
Hayes has solid experience in leading healthcare system operations as well, with more than 10 years in the field. His specialty is implementation of a range of financial improvement plans.
Before joining Halley Consulting Group, Hayes worked for several Indiana organizations, including CarDon & Associates in Bloomington; Radiology Associates of Indianapolis; Midtown Mental Health Center, also in Indianapolis; Community Hospital of Anderson; and Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Both of the new practice consultants currently reside in Indiana – Forbes in Granger and Hayes in Anderson. Although headquartered in the Columbus, Ohio, area, Halley Consulting Group is a virtual organization with consultants located throughout the United States. Team members are dispersed across the country, allowing the firm to easily connect with hospital networks nationwide.
