February 17, 2012 – COLUMBUS, Ohio – Bringing with them a wealth of healthcare management experience, James Lyons, MBA, and Sarah Johnson, MHA, have joined the growing team of experts in physician practice management consulting at Halley Consulting Group, a firm serving hospital, health system and private practice physician clients nationwide.
“We’ve experienced tremendous client growth in the past year,” said Marc Halley, president and CEO of Halley Consulting Group. “Our success is a result of the expert team we’ve assembled. Our consultants previously have held various positions within hospitals and health systems, and we leverage that experience to successfully implement proven strategies, tools and models.”
Joining Halley Consulting Group as a network executive for the company, Lyons brings more than 30 years of experience with medical groups and hospital operations, leading financial management, strategy development and quality improvement. His most recent role was as president of a
multi-specialty, 125-physician network of hospital-owned medical practices. In this role, he established a new governance model, which helped integrate physicians with system goals, consolidated reporting functions and recruited new physicians.
Johnson’s role as a senior financial analyst and practice consultant for Halley Consulting Group allows her to utilize her hands-on experience managing alignment relationships and onboarding of acquired medical practices to drive physician compensation structures and conduct practice financial gap and reimbursement analyses. She previously served as director of planning and project management for a medical center in Virginia, where, in addition to formulating business strategies, she led EMR implementation and conducted physician recruitment.
Halley adds, “To continue implementing our best strategies customized to our clients’ needs, we need accomplished experts. We’re thrilled to have James and Sarah as part of our team and contributing to our growth.”
