Judith Treharne, MAOL, is a Consulting Executive for Halley Consulting Group. Her extensive healthcare management experience stretches beyond 30 years. During that time, she has had opportunity to provide leadership in urban, suburban, and rural healthcare facilities across the full continuum of care. She has served as clinic manager, responsible for day-to-day operations in a hospital setting; administrative manager of a clinical department in a children’s hospital; and held multiple executive roles within a multi-specialty hospital-owned medical practice network governed by one of the largest health systems in the Midwest. Her accomplishments included improving ambulatory clinic financial performance by nearly $6 million in one year; leading successful JCAHO accreditation surveys; guiding the strategic implementation of practice management and electronic health record systems, which improved the quality of patient care; and facilitating the integration of various independent and hospital-owned practices into the hospital system. In addition, she has taught full time and part time in undergraduate and graduate health programs.
As a Halley Consulting executive, Judy provides leadership of physician network evaluations across the country, from rural practices with small dispersed sites to large urban practices with well over 100 physicians tied to large multi-hospital and state healthcare systems. Her experience and expertise supports clients with setting direction for operational performance improvement, developing management skills of practice managers and directors, and enhancing the integration of practice sites and specialties.
Judy received her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from the University of Saint Catherine in St. Paul, Minnesota. She also holds a Master’s Certificate in Holistic Healing.
