Lauri Miro, MBA, RN, PCMH CCE, is vice president of consulting services for The Halley Consulting Group and has more than 20 years of healthcare management, consulting, and clinical experience. She has served in senior executive roles for both hospital and physician practice network administration. Lauri has directed the operations of a hospital-owned physician practice network overseeing operations, network development, marketing, practice acquisition, physician recruitment, physician employment contracting, and centralized billing. As vice president of operations for a health system in the Midwest, Lauri directed the system-wide strategic planning process for key stakeholders and was a key facilitator for planning and construction of a heart and vascular center. Lauri also served as director of a children’s hospital, a cardiology service line, and an occupational health program, and provided nursing care to critical and intermediate care units.
As a Halley Consulting vice president, Lauri works with a full range of clients. She is a project lead for physician network evaluations that assess governance, management, operations, finance, and revenue cycle. Lauri often presents to governing boards, executive leadership, and management teams on operational governance and leadership development for physician networks. She is a project lead for service line integration work, bringing key leaders and providers together to enhance the patient service experience, service effectiveness, and clinical outcomes. Lauri provides expertise for organizations seeking to achieve Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition and is a PCMH certified content expert.
Lauri received her MBA and BSN degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and is a resident of Granger, Indiana.
