Karen J. Bridges, MBA, serves as chief financial officer for The Halley Consulting Group. Karen’s career in accounting & financial administration has spanned more than 25 years in for-profit and not-for-profit environments, including healthcare, public services and academics. She has managed accounting and finance processes, built and fine-tuned specific financial reporting to better meet the information needs of organizations, and has overseen preparation of financial statements, tax filings and board reporting.
As an interim CFO or Director of Finance for several of our Halley clients, she has blended medical groups after an acquisition, provided management and oversite as needed during a transition as well as any other services required. She is part of the Halley Consulting Business Analytics Team and assists with performance reporting services.
As CFO for Halley Consulting, she is a corporate officer, a member of the board of directors, manages all financial and general accounting functions including budget, payroll, benefits, insurance and policy development. She is charged with oversight of The Halley Consulting Group Employee Stock Ownership Program, which provides additional retirement benefits to ESOP members. Karen also functions as our corporate compliance officer.
In addition to her accounting and finance oversight responsibilities, Karen offers broad management, internal control and strategic advice to our clients.
A graduate of Anderson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Management, Karen also received her Master of Business Administration degree from Anderson University.
